Hi Emily

Well - it took me a while to find this post, but it was well worth it.
This by far is one of the most useful reads for anyone interested in Web 2.0 design or website creation that I have came across in a long time. There is so much information that I’m not sure exactly what part to comment on, but I guess the one part that stuck out to me was idea of minimalism and Google’s home page sums it up better than I could. Great job and I just bookmarked you blog.

with all the articles that I’ve browsed, this is the best explanation for Web 2.0 i have encountered (design wise) so far, direct to the point and filled with good and inspiring design philosophies.

This is a very interesting post; I like the trend towards minimalism and usability; you just feel like exhaling when you visit a web page that is designed with the user in mind, with a lot of white space and with content that is delivered in a beautiful and simple way. Your article is really going to guide me as I make design and marketing choices for my latest website. Thank you!

Hi Emily!
*wow* I just found this text coming from popular bookmarks tagged “minimalism”, of which I am myself a huge fan. Although your knowledge on the subject seem to be much more in-depth than myself (just finished a text on minimalism myself this week), I found your article an incredibly interesting read. Thank you so much for putting this online. Needless to say, you are now bookmarked, and I am as of today another of your’ trusty readers. :)

All the best,

Minimalism or simplicity is a way to go. A simple idea can be very powerful.

Thanks for your comments! I’ll be writing more observations and trends about design in the coming months.

I also found this post at the Innovation Insider citing mine that points to an upcoming conference about Design 2.0 by Core77. Is anyone going to that? Would love to hear about it.
