		<description>&lt;p&gt;Ok ....these guys clearly don&#8217;t understand the impact of this. They don&#8217;t see how it will alter the make up of the net. There is no going back on this either ....

I think that with our close proximity to the US will ultimatley force our hand. But if it didn&#8217;t ...it could be boom time for the the canadian isps.

But what i dont get is who really benifits from this ....are they trying to spin the argument that there is any benefit to the consumer? I dont see how it helps anyone ...aside from the telcos,,,,,and after seeing what i pay for my connectivity ....i don&#8217;t think they need any help trying to make moeny.....i haven&#8217;t heard of telcos or calbe companies going broke .....well adelphia .....but that wasn&#8217;t from their inabiltiy to make money.
