TiltShift Generator for iPhone

Sep 1, 2009

Takayuki Fukatsu of Art&Mobile gave me a sneak peak of his new TiltShift Generator for iPhone, which stylizes the miniature effect on photos. Just like Art&Mobile’s other great products, including QuadCamera (see my post) and ToyCamera, TiltShift Generator is easy to use and has a slick and minimal UI. There are controls for blur levels, color (saturation, brightness, contrast), and vignetting. Using any combination of these, you can create some beautiful effects and vintage style images. You can shoot new photos directly from the app, or add effects to an existing photo.

You can buy TiltShift Generator for only $.99 for a limited time at iTunes starting Sept 2, 2009. Below are just a few of my quick tests using the app.  If you don’t have an iPhone, try out the free web or Adobe AIR versions.

Nice find Emily! Just picked up a copy and look forward to trying it out. I wonder how well it will work with the older 3G camera.

Hi Tom, hope all’s well with you. I have the first gen 3G and the app works great on it.

Ok, I went and spent the $.99. I really like it. It does exactly what I do for regular camera photos with Gimp.
