A new movement and site to promote and create “a bill of rights for users of the social web” in which users are entitled to certain rights, including: ownership of personal information; control of whether and how this information is shared with others; freedom to grant access to information to trusted external sites. Site supporting these rights would follow a set of principles specific to the management of profile and social network data. Marc Canter’s post. URL: Bill of Rights for Users of the Social Web.
