{"id":1019,"date":"2005-08-28T10:41:16","date_gmt":"2005-08-28T05:41:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emilychang.com\/blog\/?p=1019"},"modified":"2009-07-26T10:42:47","modified_gmt":"2009-07-26T05:42:47","slug":"besuku-ajax-flickr-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emilychang.com\/blog\/2005\/08\/besuku-ajax-flickr-gallery\/","title":{"rendered":"Besuku ajax flickr gallery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s late Saturday night (okay, it\u2019s Sunday morning\u2026 I\u2019m in denial) and I\u2019ve been experimenting with various image galleries.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight\u2019s new find is the <a title=\"Besuku ajax flickr gallery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.beseku.com\/8\/feature.php?id=35_0_2_0_C\">Besuku ajax flickr gallery<\/a>, a very elegant image gallery by <a title=\"Ben Sekulowicz\" href=\"http:\/\/www.beseku.com\/\">Ben Sekulowicz<\/a>.\u00a0 The gallery is powered by flickr and the <a title=\"flickrArray\" href=\"http:\/\/www.beseku.com\/8\/feature.php?id=33_0_2_0_C\">flickrArray<\/a> (which Ben released in July). Configuration of the gallery couldn\u2019t be made more simple &#8211; open a config page, add your flickr username and upload the pages to a FTP directory.<\/p>\n<p>I like both the layout and the functionality of Ben\u2019s gallery.\u00a0 Now, both my visitors and I can view my photos by specific or shared tags without the flickr interface.\u00a0 Since photos are pulled directly from flickr live, I\u2019ll be interested to see whether the speed varies with traffic.\u00a0 Look forward to seeing what develops from this.<\/p>\n<p>See it in action: the Beseku ajax image gallery pulling in some my flickr photos (sorry, link discontinued).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s late Saturday night (okay, it\u2019s Sunday morning\u2026 I\u2019m in denial) and I\u2019ve been experimenting with various image galleries.
