{"id":2184,"date":"2004-03-27T23:39:53","date_gmt":"2004-03-28T07:39:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emilychang.com\/?p=2184"},"modified":"2009-11-07T00:22:14","modified_gmt":"2009-11-07T08:22:14","slug":"sxsw-2004","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emilychang.com\/blog\/2004\/03\/sxsw-2004\/","title":{"rendered":"SXSW 2004"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SXSW interactive festival<\/strong>, March 12-16, 2004, Austin, TX.<\/p>\n<p>Not only was it great to have my site, ADD, as a finalist in the SXSW Interactive Awards, I thoroughly enjoyed the conference, in particular, the talks by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartmobs.com\/\">Howard Rheingold<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tauzero.com\/Brenda_Laurel\/\">Brenda Laurel<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/sandystone.com\/\">Sandy Stone<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moveon.org\/\">MoveOn<\/a> guys (Zack Exley and Eli Pariser), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.veen.com\/jeff\/\">Jeffrey Veen<\/a>. Would have liked to take more photos in the sessions but you had to have an official press pass (see <a href=\"http:\/\/joi.ito.com\/archives\/2004\/03\/14\/sxsw_is_blogger_unfriendly.html\">Joi Ito\u2019s post<\/a>).\u00a0 To see some of the keynotes, take a look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/2004_video\/#ia04_clips\">SXSW\u2019s video clips<\/a>.
