Finally arrived in Hong Kong for my brother’s wedding events. We met my parents at SFO (who were en route from DCA) for the 1:50 am flight to HKG. Arrived on time 12.5 hours later to a humid 84 degrees at 6:45 am. Haven’t been here since ’92 when I worked at the U.S. Consulate for the summer. We’re staying in Central at the Island Shangri-la, the same place we used to come for dim sum. Great to be back!
